KITCHEN TIPS

 1. After working with garlic, rub your hands vigorously on your stainless steel sink for 30 seconds before washing them. It will remove the odor.

 2. After making eggs sunny-side up, deglaze the pan with sherry vinegar, then drizzle the sauce on the eggs to add another dimension to the dish.

 3. If you find you need more oil in the pan when sauteing, add it in a stream along the edges of the pan so that by the time the oil reaches the ingredient being cooked, it will be heated.

 4. When you deep-fry, hold each piece of food with long tongs as you add it to the oil. Hold it just below the oil's surface for five seconds before releasing it. This will seal the exterior and stop it from sticking to the pot or the other food.

 5. When chopping herbs, toss a little salt onto the cutting board; it will keep the herbs from flying around.

 6. After cutting corn off the cob, use the back side of a knife (not the blade side) to scrape the cob again to extract the sweet milk left behind. This milk adds flavor and body to any corn dish.

 7. Putting 3-4 cloves in sugar container will keep the ants at bay.

 8. If you keep a piece of blotting paper at the bottom of the container, it will keep biscuits fresh for a longer time.

9. Place some chopped onion in the vessel having burnt food, pour boiling water in it, keep 5 minutes and then clean.

 10. If the lemon or lime is hard, put it in warm water for 5-10 minutes to make it easier for squeeze.

 11. Put some boric powder in kitchen in corners and other places. Cockroaches will leave your house.

 12. Use the skin of boiled potatoes to wipe mirrors to sparkling clean.

 13. Squeeze lemon juice over half-eaten fruits and prevent them from rotting or turning brown.

 14. If you drop an egg on the floor, cover it with salt and let it remain like this for a couple of minutes. You will be able to easily clean the mess with a paper towel.

 15. To help keep an onion together while dicing, do not remove the root.

 16. Microwave the lemon for 15 seconds. You'll see how easy to squeeze and more lemon juice you have.

 17. Never stick a fork in a toaster to retrieve trapped toast – you may get shocking results.

 18. Before you chop chili peppers, rub a little vegetable oil into your hands and your skin won’t absorb the spicy chili oil.

19. After boiling pasta or potatoes, cool the water and use it to water your house plants. The water contains nutrients that your plants will love.

20. If your favorite ceramic cup is slightly cracked then what will you do? Simply just boil milk with sugar & boil the cup too it will fill the crack & will be stronger than before.
